CAIS launches BlackRock, Carlyle, Franklin Templeton, KKR model portfolios
CAIS, the US alternative investment platform for financial advisers, has added BlackRock, Carlyle, Franklin Templeton and KKR model portfolios to its marketplace.
Advisers can now access the four asset managers’ offerings on CAIS’ Models Marketplace, which was launched earlier this year to create a centralised hub that streamlines access to alternative investment model portfolios.

“Alternative investment models give advisors a powerful tool to deliver more personalized portfolios, while helping to streamline operational complexity and scale allocations,” said Neil Blundell, chief investment officer at CAIS Advisors and head of investments at CAIS. “By packaging multiple alternative investment strategies into a single, professionally designed solution, advisors can focus more on their clients and less on manager selection.”
Three of BlackRock’s multi-asset model portfolios have been onboarded onto the platform, offering access to private equity and private credit alongside public equities and debt.

Three of Carlyle’s multi-asset models are also available on CAIS’ platform, offering allocations to private equity and private credit.
Franklin Templeton is offering one holistic multi-asset and multi-manager portfolio, providing diverse private markets exposure through allocations to private credit, real estate, infrastructure, private equity secondaries and co-investments, and asset-backed finance.
And advisers can access three of KKR’s multi-asset models, offering exposure to private equity, private credit, private real estate, and private infrastructure.
CAIS serves over 2,000 wealth management firms that support more than 50,000 financial advisers who oversee approximately $6.5tn (£4.8tn) in client assets.
