TwentyFour AM names new ABS portfolio manager
TwentyFour Asset Management has appointed a new portfolio manager to its asset-backed securities (ABS) team.
Melania Maffei (pictured) joins from Morgan Stanley, where she spent several years as a member of the loan solutions and securitisation group.
“We are delighted to welcome Melania to the team,” said Douglas Charleston, partner and co-head of ABS. “She brings extensive experience in both public and private asset-backed transactions across Europe. Her appointment underscores our commitment to growing and developing our new asset-backed finance offering.”

The appointment comes after the asset manager recently launched a new asset-backed finance fund, that will be managed by the ABS team.
The new fund, which will invest primarily in a range of consumer and corporate asset portfolios in Europe, was launched in response to demand for diversified private credit solutions, TwentyFour Asset Management said.
