Twino CEO steps down
Helvijs Henšelis, chief executive European peer-to-peer lending platform Twino, has stepped down from the role as of today (24 April).
According to a note on the company’s website, Henšelis has left the firm in order to pursue new professional challenges.
“We are sincerely grateful for his long-standing contribution and dedication over the years,” said a company spokesperson in a statement.

“Helvijs has played a key role in shaping Twino’s growth, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration in new ways.”
Nauris Bloks has taken on the role of interim chief executive, the company added. Bloks previously served as a member of the supervisory board at Twino from 2021 to 2022. Most recently he was chief product and innovation officer at DelfinGroup in Riga, Latvia.

“[Bloks] knows Twino well from his previous time with the company and brings valuable experience in technology development, digital product building, and fintech strategy,” said a Twino spokesperson.
“His strong background and leadership will help ensure a smooth transition.
“With Nauris leading the way, we are focused on strengthening our platform, improving our products, and building a solid foundation for future growth.”
