Sienna IM saw private credit inflows hit €400m last year
European asset manager Sienna Investment Managers (Sienna IM) saw inflows into its private credit business exceed €400m (£333.7m) last year, following an expansion into Italy.
The Paris-based firm, which was founded three years ago, noted “a good commercial dynamic in direct loans”.
Three of its private credit funds reached their first close last year – Sienna Sustainable Infrastructure Debt, Sienna Biodiversity Private Credit and a special situations fund in Italy – boosting inflows from around €300m recorded in 2023.
However, listed assets accounted for the vast majority of the asset manager’s €6bn of total inflows in 2024, across bond, money market and equity funds.
Total assets under management rose by 19 per cent year-on-year to €40bn.

In the coming years, Sienna IM is looking to democratise private assets for retail clients and strengthen its range of private debt investment solutions for institutional clients.
“At the end of a particularly dynamic year, marked by expansion in terms of both offering and European presence, Sienna IM intends to go even further,” said chairman Paul de Leusse.
“In the three years of our existence, we have proven our agility and ability to innovate in response to economic and regulatory opportunities, such as the Green Industry Act (loi Industrie verte). In 2025, our teams will remain more than ever at the service of institutional investors and retail clients, as well as European mid-market companies.”
