WiseAlpha launches first high yield corporate bond IFISA
WiseAlpha has launched the UK’s first ever dedicated high-yield corporate bond innovative finance ISA (IFISA).
The IFISA-wrapped bond will allow retail investors to access returns of between five and 12 per cent, with all earnings sheltered from taxation. The minimum investment is £100 per corporate bond.
The company said that its goal is to open up the corporate bond market to retail investors who have traditionally been shut out due to prohibitive minimum trade sizes of £100,000.
“This is a watershed moment for the UK investment market,” said Rezaah Ahmad, chief executive of WiseAlpha.
