UAE’s AltNovel launches digital platform for private market investments
Abu Dhabi’s AltNovel has launched a new investment platform aimed at making it easier for investors to access private capital investments.
The new AltNovel platform will allow high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and wealth managers to build diversified portfolios in private markets. Users will be able to use the platform to invest in private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and digital assets.
“We are proud to launch AltNovel in a vibrant region like the GCC and a city known for its leadership in finance – the Capital of Capital” said AltNovel’s chief executive Stergios Voskopoulos.

“Our platform bridges a critical gap, providing sophisticated private market solutions with transparency and innovation.”
The platform offers a comprehensive suite of investment options, from primary fund investments, secondaries and co-investments to fund-of-funds.
It aims to help investors “achieve optimal liquidity and superior returns while navigating the complex private markets,” Voskopoulos added.

Abu Dhabi has been building a reputation as a capital markets hub in recent years, thanks to a number of high profile private market investments by the emirate’s sovereign wealth fund Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and its subsidiaries.
Earlier this year, SC Lowy secured “a significant commitment” from a subsidiary of ADIA to fund its South Korea private credit strategy.
And in July, Arrow Global received a $400m (£309.7m) investment from ADIA to boost its European real estate lending strategy.
