Mandatum AM names new heads of private debt and private real estate
Mandatum Asset Management has promoted senior portfolio manager Matias Hauru to head of private debt and senior portfolio manager Markus Nordberg to head of private real estate.
Hauru has worked at the Nordic asset manager since 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile, prior to which he held roles at PwC Finland and Pohjola Bank.

Nordberg has worked at Mandatum Asset Management since 2017. He previously worked at Mandatum Life between 2010 and 2017, which merged with Sampo to form Mandatum Asset Management.
Prior to that, he worked at Inderes Oy and Orion Pharma.
Both Hauru and Nordberg report to group chief investment officer Juhani Lehtonen.

Finland-headquartered Mandatum Asset Management invests across its core areas of credit, alternatives and equities. It manages €19bn (£15.8bn) in assets for clients including pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors across the Nordics and Central Europe.
