Private credit investors launch debt advisory firm
Two private credit investors have launched a debt capital market advisory firm to help mid-market private equity firms with their debt financing.
Lane Four Capital Partners was founded by Rob Chuchla and Robert Buckwalter.
Chuchla has more than a decade of experience in middle market credit investing, having most recently worked for Goldman Sachs’ private credit group. Prior to that, he held roles at Ares Management, EIG Global Energy Partners and Harris Williams.

“Our platform is differentiated – as former private credit practitioners, we can provide comprehensive credit advisory and support, from initial financing to amendments, upsizes, refinancings, and exit staple financings,” said Chuchla. “We have found early success driving value for our clients at every stage of the debt life cycle.”
Buckwalter also has more than a decade of experience in middle market credit investing. He most recently worked for Alliance Bernstein Private Credit Investors. Before that, he worked at JP Morgan’s Leveraged Finance Group.
“Our dedicated coverage under long-term agreements with our clients ensures full alignment with private equity firms needing debt capital markets expertise,” said Buckwalter.
