ThinCats appoints director of transaction management
ThinCats has appointed Alex Rothwell as director of transaction management.
According to a company post on LinkedIn, Rothwell joins the alternative lender with almost 20 years of experience in the banking sector.

He joins from Maven Capital Partners, where he was investment director for just over two years having joined the company in 2015 as an investment manager.
Prior to that he spent almost eight years at RBS, joining as a graduate in 2007 and working his way through various roles to become a director in 2013.

“Alex’s expertise will support the continued growth of our proposition, helping us to fund more ambitious operators throughout the UK”, the post said.
ThinCats is an alternative lender that focuses on funding mid-sized businesses. It has deployed more than £1.7bn to date.
Yesterday the firm announced it had secured £75m of mezzanine funding from CPP Investments, which manages C$632bn (£358bn) of assets for the Canada Pension Plan.
