Colesco hires investment manager in Benelux region
Colesco, a sustainability-focused direct lender that provides finance to European mid-market firms, has appointed Didier Boumans as investment manager in the Benelux region.
Boumans has over 15 years of experience in providing a wide variety of debt and hybrid capital products to support both local and multinational corporates and financial sponsors.
Prior to joining Colesco, he worked on Rabobank’s leveraged finance team, focusing on the Benelux mid-corporate and wholesale market.

He has been involved in more than 300 transactions to date, ranging from bilateral financing of small primary buyouts to the execution of syndicated loans of over €1bn (£841,000) in multinational LBOs.
Colesco said that the appointment further bolsters the firm’s capabilities to support companies with ambitious sustainability plans.
It recently completed its first investment in the energy transition by providing a unitranche financing facility to the Circreate Group, which supports energy-efficient housing in the Netherlands.
