Former Fortress executive becomes Star Mountain Capital MD
Curtis Glovier, a former managing director and investment committee member at Fortress Investment Group, has been named managing director and strategic portfolio officer at Star Mountain Capital.
Glovier was previously a Star Mountain senior advisor. He has more than three decades experience in alternative investment, and served as managing director of Fortress until 2016.
At Fortress, Glovier founded the private equity department and he was an investment committee member within the company’s credit business.

“It has been a pleasure working with Curtis personally and professionally over the past four plus years since he became a personal investor and senior advisor,” said Brett Hickey, founder and chief executive of Star Mountain Capital.

Glovier said that he is excited to transition into his new role at Star Mountain, and praised the company’s platform and offerings.
