Apollo Global hires Park Square head of IR for private credit role
Apollo Global Management has hired Roger Kempink as a partner in London to lead private credit strategies globally.
Kempink will join the alternative asset manager as a partner on its client and product solutions team, which is responsible for the firm’s fundraising and investor relations functions, according to a company post on business networking site LinkedIn.
He joins the firm from Park Square Capital, where he spent over 10 years, latterly as partner and head of investor relations. He joined the firm in 2014 and set up its North American investor relations team in 2016.
Before that he held roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Nomura and Lehman Brothers.
In the LinkedIn post, Apollo Global wrote: “Roger brings deep industry expertise in business development and investor relations and will play a key role in developing bespoke solutions to meet the needs of our institutional investors globally.”

Apollo’s client and product solutions group includes its global wealth management solutions, institutional sales and global product teams.
The US-listed group has $476bn (£376bn) in assets under management in its credit business, with strategies across direct lending, preferred equity and asset-backed finance, among others.
In the first quarter of the year, the group raised $40bn in capital and originated a record $40bn of debt, according to its results.
In March, the firm launched a new private credit fund, seeded with $290m of capital from Mubadala Investment Company.
