Austria’s Bambus launches on Mintos’ passive real estate offering
Alternative investment marketplace Mintos has launched a strategic partnership with Austria’s Bambus, as part of its new passive real estate investment offering.
The European platform’s new strategy enables individuals to invest in the residential real estate rental market with as little as €50 (£42.60), to earn target annual returns of between six and eight per cent.
There is also a secondary market which can potentially provide some liquidity.

“We’re excited to introduce passive rental real estate investments to our platform,” said Martins Sulte, chief executive and co-founder of Mintos. “This new product aligns with our goal of making investing accessible to everyone. It provides investors with a simple way to diversify their portfolios with alternative assets, supporting our commitment to offer passive, long-term investment strategies.”
Bambus specialises in providing liquidity solutions to owners of single-family residential properties. It allows clients to sell a minority share of their property while retaining living rights.

Its investment offering on Mintos offers five per cent interest, with an additional three per cent expected from an appreciation in property value.
“The Austrian real estate market is poised for growth, with forecasts predicting a steady rise in property prices due to factors like a strong economy, growing population, and limited land supply,” said Mintos. “Bambus, with its unique model and strategic focus, is well-positioned to capitalize on these trends, offering Mintos investors a promising opportunity to diversify into real estate with confidence.”
