Triodos and Lendahand join forces to boost impact lending
Triodos Investment Management has partnered with ethical investment platform Lendahand to encourage more retail investors to invest in impactful companies in emerging markets.
The partnership will focus on connecting retail investors with borrowers in the energy and agriculture sectors that contribute to the transition to “sustainable and inclusive societies”.
“Individual investors play a crucial role in mobilizing more capital towards positive change,” said Hadewych Kuiper, managing director of investments at Triodos Investment Management.

“Therefore, we are delighted about our partnership with Lendahand. The crowdfunding platform offers individual investors the unique opportunity to engage with sustainable investment projects directly.
“We look forward to contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive society together with Lendahand.”
Under the terms of the partnership Lendahand will be responsible for crowdfunding, communication with crowd investors and transactions; while Triodos Investment Management will assist in the selection and monitoring of loans. The goal is to jointly invest in 10 to 15 projects per year.
