SaveLend Group names new Billecta chief
Sweden’s SaveLend Group has named a new chief executive for its invoice finance subsidiary Billecta.
The European alternative finance group has announced that Mats Röjdmark will assume his new role on 18 September.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mats to the team!” said Jonas Ahlberg, co-founder of Billecta and vice chief executive of SaveLend Group. “We are executing on our plan to make Billecta’s sales and delivery organization more autonomous from SaveLend, and Mats is, of course, a crucial part of that. Now we look forward to letting him get started.”

SaveLend Group said that Röjdmark has a strong commercial background in business-to-business and service sales, as well as chief executive experience. He has previously worked at Universum and the SaaS company Mestro, in addition to both smaller and larger international companies.

Röjdmark has also been involved in scaling up several operations, including expansion into new markets.
“I am eagerly looking forward to taking on the role of chief executive for Billecta,” he said. “The company is in an exciting phase where it has reached a level of maturity with a stable technical platform, a critical mass of great customers, and is now running a profitable business with strong scalability. We will leverage this and drive commercial growth.”
