Collin Crowdfund rolls out green loans
Dutch peer-to-peer lending platform Collin Crowdfund has teamed up with auto trade association BOVAG to offer green financing solutions for the first time.
Available exclusively to BOVAG members, the loans aim to help entrepreneurs who want to make their company more sustainable, but are stuck when it comes to financing.
The offer comes after a BOVAG survey found that around 30 per cent of its members are actively working to make their business operations more sustainable. However, financing these green ambitions is one of the most frequently mentioned problems by entrepreneurs.

In response, Collin Crowdfund is offering green financing loans up to the value of €75,000 (£64,500) to help BOVAG businesses become more sustainable. The duration of the financing is a maximum of five years.
“The starting point for BOVAG is that our members can quickly get started with sustainability,” explained George de Booij, financial director BOVAG.
“So that they are prepared for the future and can participate well in the transition.”

“This collaboration is characterized by maximum serving of customer interests,” said Jeroen ter Huurne, chief executive of Collin Crowdfund.
“This concerns both the BOVAG members and the Collin investors.”
