Relendex unveils funding partnership with Travis Perkins
Peer-to-peer property lender Relendex has partnered with the UK’s largest builders’ merchant, Travis Perkins, to provide funding to its clients via its new WholeHouse digital initiative.
The WholeHouse platform, designed for small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) housebuilders, will reduce professional fees, including architects, provide certainty around both the cost and delivery schedules for materials, and substantially de-risk the process of developing homes, Travis Perkins claims.

It said the WholeHouse concept requires finance partners who fully understand modern methods of construction and who are embedded within the supply process.
Close Brothers has been selected as the other finance partner for the project.
“We are delighted to be working with Travis Perkins,” said Paul Sonabend, executive chairman at Relendex. “Their commitment to sustainable housebuilding and the support they are providing to bespoke housebuilders is exemplary.
“Relendex, is committed to understanding and supporting new construction techniques and encouraging developers to build ‘greener’ and we believe that WholeHouse could revolutionise the industry.”

“WholeHouse will do just that, and help SME housebuilders, who are the lifeblood of regional property markets, to build better, more sustainable homes quickly and safely, whilst retaining control over the creative design elements and saving time and money.’’
