Plend selected for EY growth programme
Peer-to-peer lending platform Plend has been selected for EY’s first ever fintech growth programme, alongside 21 other companies.
It comes after the consumer lender revealed that it had processed £7m in loan applications in January, and had maintained its record of zero per cent bad debts and defaults as of 31 December 2022.
By the end of January 2023, 98.8 per cent of Plend’s loan book was performing with 0.49 per cent in arrears and a 0.71 per cent loss rate.

In a Linked In message, Plend said it was “super excited” to join the EY growth programme.
“Thank you for selecting us EY,” Plend added. “We’re looking forward to continuing working with the fintech team over the next few weeks.”
The EY growth programme was launched in December 2022, and it aims to help early stage and growing businesses to build the skills and knowledge that they need for success.
