Salt Edge appoints chief sales officer
Open banking provider Salt Edge has named Stephen Winyard as its new chief sales officer as it seeks to expand the company’s global client base.
Winyard has more than 25 years experience of co-founding, managing and investing in disruptive and complex technology companies.
He was co-founder and sales director of Oneview.net, which listed on the London Stock Exchange via an IPO in 1999. Winyard helped the company to grow to more than 450 workers before selling it for more than $200m (£168.4m) just 20 months from inception.

He has also worked as chief executive of Destiny plc – a company that developed applications for digital and mobile technology solutions. And more recently he was sales director of Thales Telematics, leading Europe’s satellite and GPS technology growth.

Winyard’s appointment is part of Salt Edge’s long-term vision to provide a universal platform using open banking, with the aim of creating a new digital experience for customers.
