Mintos celebrates half a million registered users
European peer-to-peer lending platform Mintos has reached 500,000 registered users after growing its user base steadily this year.
Over the course of 2022 to date, the platform has reported steady growth in registrations with an average of 4,372 users joining each month.
Mintos added that it has seen more women joining the platform this year.

“We’re very excited to see that the trend towards more women investing continues,” said the P2P platform in a blog post.
“Women account for 17.3 per cent of new registrations in 2022 to date, compared to 15.7 per cent of registrations in 2021.”
Mintos investors earned an average return of 14.2 per cent in October, representing a slight increase on the previous month, the platform reported. This brings the total amount of interest earned to date to €207m (£179.7m).

The Latvia-based P2P lender thanked its registered users for supporting the platform and suggested that new products and services will follow in 2023.
“With Mintos poised to offer regulated services in more and more countries and languages, we’re looking forward to continued growth in 2023,” added Mintos.
