Former Zopa CTO joins Mangopay
Former Zopa executive Ronen Benchetrit has joined Mangopay as its new chief technology officer.
Benchetrit was chief technology officer at Zopa from 2016 to 2020, when Zopa was still operating as a peer-to-peer lending platform.
After leaving Zopa, Benchetrit became chief technology officer at dating app Bumble.
Benchetrit has three decades of experience working in product engineering at scale-up companies. At Mangopay, he will be responsible for scaling up the company’s technology offering and doubling the tech team within the next two years.

Benchetrit will report to Mangopay’s chief executive Romain Mazeries.
