Tink’s research director to head up Project Open Banking
Jan Van Vonno, director of research and thought leadership at open banking platform Tink, has been named Project Open Banking’s new project lead.
Van Vonno will work with The Payments Association to help create the right market conditions to ensure the successful rollout of open banking across the UK.
He will be sported by the project’s mentor Huw Davies, an open banking veteran and chief commercial officer at Ozone financial technology.
“Through Project Open Banking we have the opportunity to bring clarity, trust and innovation to the payments industry, and help deliver tangible momentum alongside claims of potential,” said van Vonno.
“Open banking is enabling a more efficient and cost-effective way to move money, while businesses are more motivated than ever to improve their digital journeys, grow their revenue, and reduce their costs.
