P2P veteran joins Moneyfacts
Peer-to-peer industry veteran James Blower has been named head of digital at financial information firm Moneyfacts.
Blower has worked with P2P platforms Zopa and Crowdstacker in the past, while also acting as interim savings director at The Savings Guru.
The Savings Guru provides consultancy services to firms looking to acquire deposit-taking banking licences, new entrant and challenger banks and building societies.
In 2019 Blower was appointed as an advisor to the board of Crowdstacker, where he assisted with the development of new savings products.
He has also worked across a range of fintech and savings firms, including Zopa, specialist mortgage lender Pepper Money, and Harrods Bank. He ran National Australia Bank’s offshore savings bank Clydesdale Bank International, and he was the first savings director of challenger bank Shawbrook.
