Women in Fintech Powerlist applications open
Innovate Finance has opened applications for the Women in Fintech Powerlist 2021, and two new categories have been announced, representing fintech hubs and environmental, social and governance (ESG) achievements.
200 women are set to be honoured on the Powerlist, including a Standout 45, which will cover the 45 women who are making a who are making a real and lasting impact in fintech, over and above their day-to-day role.

“We want the 2021 Powerlist to reflect the multidisciplinary and changing nature of the fintech ecosystem and the women who are driving it forward,” Innovate Finance said.
“The 2021 Powerlist will shine a spotlight on 200 women across nine categories who have made a real impact over and above their day-to-day role.

“This year we have added two new categories: hubs and ESG. As our Powerlist has grown in size and popularity, we felt that it was only fair to highlight the ever-growing community of women who are making such an impact on our sector.”
The judging panel will include Andy Avim MBE, of Angel Investing School, June Angelides MBE of Samos Investments, Ezechi Britton of Impact X Capital, Clara Durodie of Cognitive Finance Group, Amy French of Level39, and Stephen Ingledew from Fintech Scotland.
Applications can be made via the Women in Fintech webpage and the application process will be open until 16 January 2022.
