Banking veteran joins ThinCats as head of credit
ThinCats has appointed banking veteran Brian Don to a new role of head of credit for the Midlands and South West of England.
Don (pictured) joins the alternative business lender after spending more than three decades working for banks including NatWest and Clydesdale.
His previous positions have been in business development and relationship roles in corporate and commercial banking, followed by 10 years in commercial credit sanctioning.

“ThinCats has an excellent reputation amongst advisers and the wider business community,” Don said.
“I’m looking forward to working with the Midlands and South West teams to expand our capacity while maintaining the bespoke, personal service which is key to meeting the needs of mid-sized small- and medium-sized enterprises, particularly as they look to grow out of the pandemic.”
ThinCats has also announced a spree of new hires including Anna Hope-Simpson as head of human resources and Ian Ilersic has head of legal.
