Private credit marketplace Finitive hires Andrew Holgate as Europe head
Private credit marketplace Finitive has appointed alternative finance veteran Andrew Holgate as managing director, head of Europe.
The US-headquartered firm connects institutional investors with an array of private credit opportunities, including specialty finance, online lending, marketplace lending, and private credit funds.
Finitive said that Holgate (pictured) will develop and maintain its relationships throughout Europe with non-bank lenders seeking financing. His role will be based in the UK.
Holgate brings 20 years of operational and lending experience in both traditional and alternative finance, including roles at GE Capital, Euler Hermes and RBS Group. In 2012 he co-founded peer-to-peer lending platform Assetz Capital.
He left the platform in September 2018, then the following year founded fintech consultancy and advisory business Equitivo. Most recently he was a consultant at The House Crowd.
According to Holgate’s LinkedIn profile, he will continue as chief executive of Equitivo while working at Finitive.
