Assetz appoints LendInvest’s Damien Druce for intermediary expansion
ASSETZ Capital is looking to bolster its presence in the intermediary space as part of the next stage of its expansion.
The peer-to-peer business lender has appointed Damien Druce (pictured) to lead the move as head of intermediary sales.
He joins from LendInvest where he was northern business development manager, and has previously worked for Castle Trust and Crystal Specialist Finance.
Druce will be responsible for creating and implementing the intermediary strategy across the business and take ownership of relationships with national distributors and key trade bodies.

Based at Assetz Capital’s new head office at Manchester Airport, Druce will also be tasked with raising the profiles of bridging, commercial and development loan opportunities.
“With a new head office at Manchester Airport and a growing reputation in the market, everything is in place for exponential growth from people to products,” Druce said.
“I look forward to working with the team and bringing my expertise to Assetz.”
Rob Pailin, managing director of Assetz, said the advisory space was a key focus for the platform.
“We’re keen to seek out and offer our services to the major players across the country, and with Damien on board, we are in a strong position to do so,” Pailin said.
“He not only brings a wealth of experience to the business, but also a real passion for delivery, and we are confident that he will make a huge difference to the business.”
It comes as Assetz Capital prepares its Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA) for launch after receiving full authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority in September.
