Monroe prices second new-issue CLO at $399m
Monroe Capital has priced its second new-issue collateralised loan obligation (CLO) of 2026, Monroe Capital PC CLO II, at $398.9m (£301.8m).
The Chicago-based private credit manager said the deal was its fourth CLO transaction in the past 12 months.
“We are pleased with the strong execution of this transaction and the broad support it received from a sophisticated global investor base,” said Zia Uddin, president of Monroe Capital. “This CLO reflects the institutional scale, underwriting discipline, and sourcing advantages we have built across our private credit platform.”

The vehicle holds a portfolio of senior secured loans to lower middle-market and traditional middle-market companies, Monroe said. Its capital structure includes investment-grade debt tranches rated from AAA to BBB-, and it has been structured to meet risk-retention requirements in the US, UK and EU.
Monroe has issued $13bn in structured products since it was founded, and has $23.8bn of assets under management across more than 45 investment vehicles, the manager said.
“This is a meaningful milestone for Monroe’s structured-solutions platform and reinforces our position as a leading manager of middle-market and private credit CLOs,” said Seth Friedman, managing director and head of structured solutions at Monroe Capital.
Deutsche Bank was lead arranger on the deal.
The news comes as Alternative Credit Investor interviewed Monroe Capital’s Uddin earlier this year on the private credit environment amid macroeconomic volatility and uncertainty.
