Veld Capital onboards new MD
Veld Capital has appointed Adeeb Ahmed as managing director and head of investor relations and business development, as the private investment firm plans for growth.
Ahmed has more than two decades experience in client-facing and senior business development roles in the alternative asset management space. Since 2012, he has been primarily focused on fundraising activities for specialist and opportunistic credit strategies.
Most recently, he worked at EJF Capital, where he was responsible for European and Asian business development.
“We are thrilled to welcome Adeeb to the Veld leadership team in what is another pivotal and exciting appointment for us,” said Justin Sulger, managing partner at Veld.

Ahmed’s appointment comes as Veld looks to build on its 15-year strong track record in the European market focused on private asset-backed finance activity.
In 2025, the firm said that it plans to grow its flagship credit opportunities strategy and to further develop its direct real estate strategy.
