Nucleus grows asset-based lending team with two new hires
Nucleus Commercial Finance has expanded its asset-based lending (ABL) team.
The alternative business lender has appointed Niall Dunphy as senior relationship manager and Odhran Dodd as regional sales director.
Dunphy joins from Santander Invoice Finance where he helped build the bank’s largest and highest earning small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) portfolios in the South of England.
Prior to this, he worked at RBS Commercial Banking where he gained experience in the real estate, healthcare and hotel and leisure sectors.
He will now lead the client services team, managing the growth of Nucleus’ ABL portfolios.
Dodd joins from corporate finance adviser HMT and has more than 20 years of experience specialising in debt advisory and M&A, buyouts, real estate finance and advising on distressed transactions.
He will head the alternative lender’s growth in the private equity space.
